on a low hill by the Lake Mareotis close to Alexandria -- that they were "the best" of a kind
given to "perfect goodness" that "exists in many places in the

Essenes with the Indian sages
The Essenes lived on
terms of perfect equality between men and women, contrary to the customs and
social structure of their period.
The morning baths were
followed by special breathing ( PRANAYAMA ) and gymnastic exercises.( YOGA )
They get rid of egoism simply by aiding and extending altruism
and not by violent attacks on egoism.
They get rid of disease simply by strengthening the vitality
of the organism and not by attacking the disease—the fundamental of Ayurveda.
They create a better future by the constructive and
progressive amelioration of the present and not by the destruction of the past.
They bring about a peaceful inner revolution, an individual rebirth in each
altruistic, intelligent and active being
in order to ensure the unlimited progressive evolution of mankind towards an
ever better future.
It is no surprise that there is NOT a single adverse
sentence about Essenes in any writings from antiquity till now.
They were the only sect to be without enemies and to escape
criticism at the hands of even the most ironical writers.
The First Century Essenes gave humanity the greatest figure
of antiquity: Apollonius.
The Greek philosopher and King’s official historian Dio Chrysostom ( 40 AD to 115 AD ) wrote about Essenes and Apollonius, but not a
single word about Jesus Christ or Christianity.
He was so much trusted that his surname Chrysostom comes
from the Greek chrysostomos which means "golden-mouthed"-such was his
ETHOS .
Emperor Domitian, in a deep sulk due to his writings in
praise of Apollonius banished him from
Rome. He went to the Oracle of Delphi and was told to wear the clothes of a
beggar and continue in Rome.
When Domitian was assassinated Dio saw that the Roman army
was about to revolt against Nerva who was pronounced Emperor as per the wishes
of Apollonius, within an hour .

leaped on to a high altar, and began his harangue with the verse:

Deleteconquering and converting entire land masses is not merely a religious or spiritual activity. to be precise, it is a ruse for plundering and pillaging resources, which include but not restricted to land, gold, precious stones, livestock, women, slaves, food items etc etc..
having said that, who would want to invade and 'convert' Arabia, the desert? what the heck is available there to plunder? Arabia remained the unknown, unwanted place until the discovery of petroleum resources. in a way Arabians lived and evolved very differently. it is the same lack of resources that made Arabians invade other countries in the name of Islam. Traditionally resource rich lands like India and central Asia were prime targets for Islamic invaders. Similarly, resource hungry christian Europe went all over the world looking for goodies. North America, South America, Africa, Australia etc were all taken because they had so much to offer. ISLAMIC ARABIA HAD NOTHING EXCEPT SOME DATE PALMS.
It is the same reason India is not an invader. WE HAVE EVERYTHING. NO NEED TO GO PLUNDER. There is a type of Indian invasion in modern times in terms better economics. Indians are going all over the world (including Arabia) where their skills can be rewarded with money and better living standards.

From not being able to change public discourse to much graver issues like black money and ditching hindus... he is getting exposed and making it harder for his own bhakths to defend him...in fact he is now a liability for the bjp...people voted him out of hope...he is dumb if he thinks they voted for him cos he is a statesman or something.even when I talk to taxi drivers and auto wallas.. I get the impression of lost hope... most of these people wanted him to do well. The date is a complete disaster.
The young man is totally pre-occupied by the antics of the young lady's Parents.
At the end of the date, sensing something is seriously wrong, the young lady asks the young guy,

Understanding this distinction is a necessary first step. The next is exploring whether the Purusha Sukta really sanctions a hierarchical and discriminatory caste system?

When we reached there , it was shocking that only those who do a Pooja of Rs5100 can closely have darshan of Balaji or you have to prayer from a distance of 15 to 20 ft& that too in a moving line where people keep pushing you brom back. But if you do a pooja of 5100 then you camly sit right in front of murti & do your pooja.

And took some important finance related decisions. This without any orders from President's office calling back his Rule. It seems just so silly.

this is a bit off topic but i would really like to know. there is an enchanting tale about a prince/king who, abandoned as a child grew up to become a great king. his name was chandrahasa. and a vishnu devotee. he is also mentioned in jaimini bharatam. he was so virtuous and valiant that krishna himself warns arjuna not to fight him. it is said this king ruled the kerala region .this is one of the unforgettable childhood stories. i really love to think that this really happened. please shed some light on this. thank you for your time

Missed your blog yesterday.
Heavy thundershowers here in Assam, when heat wave in burning rest of India.
Sir, when Babri Masjid was broken down, the whole muslim community comes together and carried out protests
When churches get vandalised, the christian community takes out protest and candle light march are held.
But when hindu temples are attacked directly or indirectly, our community does not come together to protest or even take out candle light marches.
The basic concept or belief in Sabarimala pilgrimage will be destroyed if SC allows women entry into the temple. This is indirect attack on hindu beliefs. What is use of 41 days penance, what about "tatvamasi", what about malikapurathamma, ...and still there is not a single group, Seva Sangam, hindu religious body carrying out a peaceful protest.
The arguments put forward by Devaswom board are weak to be brushed aside. They are quoting age regulation in selection to armed forces, bcci, indian cricket team,etc as comparison to age regulation in Sabarimala.
Sir, please give your opinion/views on entry of women at Sabarimala.

All the bhakts are out in full force here now. Really, has the govt done a single thing for India or Hindus since they came to power. If they could do nothing in 2 years, what are they going to do in 10?
Ganga cleaning is never discussed anymore, what with the Muslim tanneries on the banks. Nothing on black money. These are some of the major poll promises of the BJP. I had never heard of people like Vithoba, Basava etc who all have been felicitated. Mandan Mishra is being compared to Adi Shankracharya. Why're all these fake creations who're not even that well known given so much footage all of a sudden? Can it be a coincidence?
The most obvious and glaring example is the rabble rousing media. Today everyone in India knows what the media is all about and they also throw mud on this govt. But what is tying their hands? What sort of govt is this which can't even control the media who've never said a single positive thing about the nation.
