Laws of karma do NOT apply to animals as they do NOT have an ego.  Ego is the soul’s worst enemy.

Translation

BG 6.6: For those who have conquered the mind, it is their friend. For those who have failed to do so, the mind works like an enemy of the soul.

 

Some ignorant people say: “Karma does everything. It is all destiny. If I am destined by my Karma to be like this or like that, why then should I exert? It is my destiny only.”

 

This is fatalism— as projected by Prof Godbole in PASSAGE TO INDIA..

 

Hindu fatalism is a terrible myth spun by Western, orientalist foul imagination. The idea is to denigrate Hindus as stone hearted savages.

Man sows an action or thought and reaps a habit of doing or thinking. He sows a habit and reaps a character. He sows a character and reaps a destiny. Habit is second nature or rather first nature itself.

 

Man has made his own destiny by thinking and acting. He can change his destiny.

 

Man is the master of his own destiny.

 

Determinism is the doctrine that all things, including the will, are determined (limited) by causes. This is the converse of free will.

 

The doctrine of Karma is diametrically opposed to the doctrine of fatalism. Fatalism causes inertia, lethargy, weakness of will and bondage. Fatalism annihilates faith. It induces terrible fear in the people. It destroys ethics. It checks growth and evolution

 

The doctrine of Karma is an incentive to action to better one’s condition. It is a source of solace. It gives man an assurance of a broader and happier life. It presupposes freedom of the will.

 

In your present life you forge the hinges of your destiny on your own terms.

 

Your destiny is created by your karma, not only in this present life , but also your previous lives.

 

As per Hinduism you have a BACK LOG of karma –that is why you are still in a mortal coil.

 

Now — you can be given moksha by god even if your back log of accumulated karma is still heavy — based on good deeds or even a single HUMONGOUS good deed involving personal sacrifice .

 

This is not mere addition and subtraction OR snakes and ladders game as told by that anal sex receiving RASCAL Devdutt Pattanaik.

  

Sometimes a single good deed just before you die , can have a force multiplier — and give you moksha. Retired IIT professor ( Kanpur ) fasted 110 days for Ganges and died in Oct 2018..

 

Vadakayil says -- his soul has got Moksha . Childless traitor Modi watched him die.  GD Agarwal was an intellectual not a illiterate army truck driver like Anna Hazare..

 

People who have not followed the laws of DHARMA accumulated bad karma.

 

People who go against their conscience and do wrong things accumulate bad karma.

 

You past karma does NOT affect your thinking/ action .

 

You know when you do something wrong — unless you are a mad man..  I have never seen a DRUNKEN man mistaking his sister for his wife.

 

People choose to ignore their conscience and do bad things.

 

A jivanmukta , or a man who attains moksha after death will NOT have ego or anger.

 

Lord krishna explained karma yoga to  Arjun– about doing his duty and being in the moment. – but then there is god as a judge who watches .

 

The Law of Karma is infallible and everyone  is subjected to it.. As per the law of karma, every positive deed which we do, generates  positive marks, while every sin ( laws of universe ignored ) results in negative arks , which subsequently we need to repay by enduring happiness or unhappiness in this life of the next

 

During our day-to-day interactions, we are either increasing or reducing the karmic baggage weight.  If the karmic baggage weights you will have another re-birth and another chance to lighten it.  

 

We are not consciously aware of the give-and-take karmic accounts generated in our previous births.   In our subsequent births, we may or may not be equipped to settle our destiny and the paradox is that at the same time we are creating new karmic accounts. 

 

Thus, this loop of karma and destiny binds us and we remain entangled in it. The only way through which we can nullify our give and take account and destiny is through sustained and regular spiritual practice. 

In Sanatana Dharma the true purpose of life is to overcome karma (destiny) and attain moksha where you become god. The ball of energy within you ( soul ) merges with brahmAn ( mother energy field ).  The soul was once part of it. It is REAL home coming .  

 

ONLY IN HUMAN LIFE FORM CAN WE CHANGE OUR DESTINY.

 

AN INTELLIGENT MAN WILL NOTE THAT KARMA AND DESTINY ARE AT LOGGERHEADS.

As you shed your ego, the vibration frequency of your soul becomes higher.

Until you make the unconscious , conscious—it will direct your life and you will call it fate. Fate decides who comes into your life.

 

The egoism of the Jivanmukta is like a burnt cloth which has got the appearance of a cloth but is actually reduced to the state of ashes. The individual consciousness of the Jivanmukta is powerful enough to maintain the existence of his physical body, but it is not capable of bringing to him another birth as an embodied being.

 

 His Sanchita-Karmas get fried by the fire of Brahma-Jnana or Knowledge of the Absolute Reality. He has no Agami Karmas to bring future births because he has no feelings of Kartritva and Bhoktritva. His actions are cosmic movements and not the instincts of the sense of egoism.

 

Carnivorous animals have been created by God.  They kill and eat other animals.  

 

Animals do NOT have ego and hence are NOT affected by laws of Karma. They only have survival instincts which is governed by a strong mooladhara chakra ( will to survive and live).

 

The ego or its separation is an illusion. The goal of man is to preserve his Karma and to develop it further – when man dies his karma lives and creates for itself another carrier.

 The transformation of the heart is an essential part of the method which employs mathematics for spiritual realization. Mathematics can itself aid in this heart transformation by virtue of its embodiment of Truth in a particularly pure form.

Mathematics provides an excellent object of devotion.

 

A desire for the transcendent Self and a love of universals also tend toward the required melting of the egoistic feeling

 

Math when practiced with great devotion and humility, necessarily involves the transformation of both mind and heart and leads inevitably to both Compassion and Wisdom. It is one path, albeit not for many, which combines logic with love and conception with compassion.

 

For a layman, mathematics started with the numerals. It is the science of numbers and their operations. We associate mathematics with arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and at advance level to calculus and field of computers.

The eye of mathematics sees deep into the structures of living and nonliving entities. The X-ray machines reveal what is inside our body. There is lot of mathematics that goes in to produce the final images of body.

 

Vedanta proved that when math is practiced with great devotion and humility, it involves the transformation of both mind and heart which leads to wisdom.   Now you get an idea why ancient Indians were proficient in math –they developed math.

He asserted, “I am not the mind or the intellect not the ego. I am the blissful form of the Brahman.”
